Small private companies with a year end of 31 October 2014 and into their second or later year of existence should file their accounts at Companies House by 31 July 2015 in order to avoid incurring a Late Filing Penalty.
Small private companies in their first year of existence have a deadline which is usually slightly shorter than this. If they have changed their year end, it may be considerably shorter. They can look on the Companies House website to determine their deadline, but their accountant may have warned them already.
Any corporation tax for small companies is due to be paid on 1 August 2015 in order to avoid being charged Late Payment Interest.
